There’s a special thrill in spotting someone wearing one of my handprinted shirts—a moment where art meets life. As an artisan screen printer (see my work at @planetariumdesign on Instagram), I pour my heart into crafting functional art, transforming textiles like t-shirts and towels into wearable or usable masterpieces. My botanical designs, inspired by wildflowers and lush foliage, are hand-printed with eco-friendly water-based inks, creating vibrant patterns that feel as alive as nature itself.
Screen printing textiles is a labor of love. Each t-shirt or towel begins as a blank canvas in my studio. I sketch original botanical artwork, mix inks to capture a leaf’s exact shade, and carefully pull the squeegee to bring every petal to life. The result? Shirts that turn a casual outfit into a statement and towels that elevate a kitchen with art. Seeing people wear my shirts or use my towels fills me with joy—it’s proof that functional art can spark connection and beauty in everyday moments.
